Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been able to achieve something that no Bollywood star has been able to – to make a name globally and become one of the first Indian-American star. Her global stardom has prompted many actors and actresses to address the topic of entering the American entertainment industry and recently something similar was asked to superstar Shah Rukh Khan. While the latter maintained that he is ‘comfortable’ with Indian films, Priyanka Chopra Jonas reacted to it, adding that she is looking for something that is more than ‘just comfort’.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is actively gearing up for the release of yet another action-packed series Citadel, that features in the role of a sleek spy. During the promotional interactions of the Amazon Prime Video series, Priyanka was asked about Shah Rukh Khan’s comment, to which she responded, “Comfortable is boring to me. I am not arrogant, I am self-assured. I know what I am doing when I walk onto a set. I don’t need the validation of executives. I am willing to take auditions, I am willing to work. I do not carry the baggage of my success in one country when I walk into another country.”

She further also maintained how it is professionalism that matters to her more than anything else, when it comes to her work. “I am very professional and if you ask people around me, I am known for my professionalism. I take pride in it. My father was in the military and he taught me the value of discipline. He taught me not to take the value of what you have been given for granted,” she added.

Coming to her upcoming venture Citadel, it is a one-of-a-kind spy drama made by Marvel fame Russo Brothers and will feature multiple spin-off series in varied languages across continents. While the American version also stars Richard Madden, the Indian version will feature Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan in lead roles.
