Underworld Ka Kabzaa Ticket Prices Slashed For Day 1 Shows – Here’s How Much They’ll Cost

CineEye, March 17, 2023

The slashed ticket pricing for Underworld Ka Kabzaa applies only to the Hindi language across all theatres in India.

As the makers are all set to release ‘Underworld Ka Kabzaa’ for their audiences tomorrow, they bring in yet another surprise for all the moviegoers. To celebrate the love for Indian Cinema, Producer Anand Pandit has slashed ticket prices for period action drama to flat ₹150, an offer valid only for tomorrow.

The slashed ticket pricing applies only to the Hindi language across all theatres in India. The coming week gets even more exciting as the moviegoers can buy the ticket for a flat ₹120 from 20th to 23rd March (Monday to Thursday). Looks like it will be Underworld Ka Kabzaa fever all over India in the coming weeks.

After the nationwide success of Kantara and KGF, the Kannada film industry is being looked up to as an industry that has mastered the art of telling even average stories in a stunning manner. But in the last few months, the industry has again gone back to the days when it was irrelevant. Kannada’s big star hero, Darshan’s latest film, Kranthi, which was dubbed in several languages and was released on January 26, turned out to be an unmitigated disaster at the box office and couldn’t even collect 20 crore share. The industry has now pinned all its hopes on R Chandru’s Kabzaa starring Upendra, Sudeep, Shriya Saran, and Shiv Rajkumar in a cameo. This was projected as the next big thing in Indian cinema. But its trailer didn’t receive much appreciation, and many called it a poor cousin of KGF. The film opens today, and the bookings are shockingly poor not only in other languages but also in Kannada itself. Despite being projected as a big pan-India multistarrer movie, the film has not generated enough interest in the audience. Overseas, the Kabzaa content and KDM also were not delivered on time, and hence the U.S. premieres have been messed up, and the few shows in the US started just around the time when the first show starts in India. Maybe the makers intentionally delayed it to avoid any negative talk coming from the USA. There were some early reviews from the Hindi version screenings in Mumbai, and they were not very encouraging. We have to wait and see how the normal audience will receive the film.

With a star cast of actors including Upendra, Shriya Saran, Kichcha Sudeep and Shivarajkumar, Kabzaa will see a global release in multiple languages at cinemas today. The film, directed by R Chandru, is produced by Sri Siddheshwara Enterprises and co-produced by Invenio Origin.“Kabzaa is an action period fictional drama with emotional nuances from the 1945 era. It is inspired by a few real-life incidents with a global connect which is why it will appeal to all, irrespective of language and region. The story is about Arkeshwara, played by Upendra, and his tryst with the underworld mafia in the pre-Independence era. We have not compromised on quality, and audiences will be taken into the fascinating world of Kabzaa.

An ensemble cast from different industries have powerful roles that make the content enriching,” according to Chandru.
On the cast and crew camaraderie, Chandru adds, “Kabzaa is made by an efficient team in Sandalwood with an aim to take Kannada pride across India. I thank the star cast and technicians who made the film a big canvas. It will be a treat to watch the film on the silver screen.”
