Music fraternity came for Rehmatein 5 music concert organised by Saurabh Daftary of Sangeetam Charitable Trust at Shanmukhanand Hall, Sion.

The joy of experiencing your favourite singers- Shaan, Hariharan, Ankit Tiwari and Anup Jalota performing on stage coupled with the sight of veteran musicians- Chandrakant Nimbalkar, Usha Rege, Ragini Juhari, Vinod Bhatt, Ravndra Rawal, Madhu Madhalkar, Deepak Bhorapkar and others receiving their monetary gifts… the Rehmatein 5 music concert at the Shanmukhananda Hall hit all the right notes.

Organised by Saurabh Daftary of Sangeetam Charitable Trust, which has been extending financial support to artists from the music fraternity since the past five years, the event saw popular and well-loved singers Hariharan, Shaan, Ankit Tiwari and Anup Jalota regale the full house with their individual styles and popular hits. The packed auditorium also saw special guests including Leslie Lewis, Salim Merchant, Suresh Wadkar, Abhijeet Bhatacharya, Alka Yagnik, Jatin Lalit, Madan Pal, Yogesh Lakhani of Bright Outdoor, Vijay Kumar Gautam Principal Secretary Maharashtra Tourism  in attendance.

Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra CM, made a valid point about the need for our musicians to be able to live and perform minus insecurity. As the smiles wreathed the lined faces of the veterans who were felicitated on stage, the success of this wonderful endeavour shone through.Abook written by Madan Pal was also released on this occasion. E-Bizz Entertainment India Pvt. Shri Yogesh Gaur – National award winner for song – kahi baar yahi dekha haih , he has worked for famous songs like kaisi hai paheli , choti si baat etc.

Shailu Sundaram – Mendodilom, Banjo, Bazuki Player, worked for 39 years in Industry. Hit song’s – 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10,11,12,13, Do lafzo ki hai  yeh zindagi (Gambler Movie) Bhul gaye sab kuch yaad nahi hai ab kuch (juli Movie)
