First Feature Film on MAULANA AZAD

First feature film on Maulana Azad is going to be released on 18 Jan, 2019, Pan-India. The film is produced by under the banner Rajendra Films and presented by Mrs Bharati Vyas. The Story, Screenplay, Dialogues, Lyrics written by Dr. Rajendra Sanjay while the Directors of this film are Dr. Rajendra Sanjay & Sanjay Singh Negi. The Music Director of this film Darshan Kahar and Art Director is Manoj Mishra. The cast of the film are Linesh Fanse (Maulana Azad), Sirali (Zulekha Bagum), Sudhir Joglekar, Arti Gupte, Dr.Rajendra Sanjay, Arvind Vekariya, Sharad Shah, KT Menghani, Chetan Thakkar, Sunil Balwant, Maahi Singh, Chand Ansari and Virendra Mishra.

Maulana Azad, full name Abul Kalam Mohiyuddin Ahmed passed his childhood in Calcutta (Kolkata) along with his elder brother Yasin and three elder sisters Zainab, Fatima and Haneefa. Interested in literature, he brought out a handwritten magazine named ‘Narang-e-Alam’ highly appreciated by literators. As a patriot he joined revolutionary organization of Shri Aurobindo Ghosh as it active member.

Later, as journalist he brought out two magazines ‘Al-Hilal’ and ‘Al Balah’ which soon became so popular that the British Government out of fear closed both the publications and externing him from Calcutta, kept him under house arrest in Ranchi.

After 4 years in 1920, he being set free, met Mahatma Gandhi in Delhi for the first time and soon became his close confident. He served jail terms many times while fighting for Indian Freedom. Impressed deeply by his personality JawaharLal Nehru started treating him as his elder brother. At the age of 35 years in 1923, he became youngest congress president. During the long jail terms of Mr Gandhi, the Congress broke into two groups but Maulana Azad brought back again into one fold.

As Education Minister in free India, he revolutionised the education system by introducing science and technology and levelling India to the parallel of western countries. He fought valiantly devoting his whole life for the Hindu-Muslim unity. How? For answer visit the silver screen.
