Film Luckee’s Kopacha Song is tribute to Jeetendra-Sridevi’s film Himmtwala

2019’s Much awaited marathi film Luckee’s first song Kopacha is a tribute to legendry actor Jeetendra & Late actress Sridevi’s 1983 released film Himmatwala. The track is composed by Amitraj and sang by Bollywood’s original Disco King of Bappi Lahiri and pop Queen Vaishali Samant. Song is picturised on Actor Abhay Mahajan and Deepti Sati .

Bappi Lahiri has around 500 films & numerable awards to his credits, in his 45 years long career, But haven’t sang any song for Marathi film. Luckee marks his debut as playback singer in Marathi Industry.

Producer Suraj Singh says, “My generation  has grown up watching and listening to 80’s songs. Also, I have a special connect with Legendary Actor Jeetendra . It’s our way of tribute to Jeetu sir and his era. We are hoping that everyone will like it.”

The veteran Bappi Lahiri  reveals, “I have a very special connect with the Marathi film industry & it’s artistes. I started my Bollywood career in 70’s. But my claim to fame was Sunil Dutt and Asha Parekh starrer Raja Thakur’s  film Zakhmi (1975). Raja Thakur was Maharashtrian filmmaker. Since then I wanted to explore myself in Marathi films. But I only got a chance to compose music for one Marathi film  ‘Dokyala taap nahi  ‘ way back in 1990. My Bollywood career kept me so busy that I didn’t get an opportunity to contribute for Marathi cinema.  But now I am debuting in Marathi as a  playback singer with Sanjay Jadhav’s Lucky & I am very excited and looking forward for its response.”

Singer Vaishali Samant says, “I have grown up listening to Bappi da’s song. Singing for film Luckee with the living legend Bappi da is dream come true. I feel very blessed and lucky to get a chance to sing with him. I was totally thrilled when Amitraj offered me this track.  I am a great admirer of Sanjay Jadhav’s work. The song is visualised fabulously.”

B Live Productions presents in association with dreaming twentyfour7 entertainment’s film Luckee is produced by Sanjay Kukreja, Suraj Singh, and Deepak Pandurang Rane, directed by Sanjay Jadhav, starring Deepti Sati & Abhay Mahajan in lead  is slated to release on 7th February 2019 in  theatres .
