The film’s post production work is taking a lot of time than the makers anticipated and they have decided to push the release of Saaho to August 30 to avoid last minute tensions.

August 15 is the best possible release date for a film of this magnitude. But the makers are left with no choice but postpone the film by two weeks.

This is good news for Independence Day releases like Mission Mangal and Batla House.

Now that the date is vacant, even some Telugu movies can book the slot and make the most of the long weekend.

Saaho has been in the making for past two years, but the makers couldn’t complete it on time.

Replacing music directors just two months prior to release date added to the tension. They hardly have any time for promotions too.

Now that it is pushed to August 30 will give them the breathing space and plan quality promotions.
