The social drama was released on 11th August and the frenzy around it is just unbeatable.

Other than Sunny and Ameesha, the film has an ensemble cast of Utkarsh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra, Luv Sinha, Simrat Kaur, Madhumalti Kapoor, Rakesh Bedi, Mushtaq Khan and Dolly Bindra among others. The film has opened to roaring reviews and we cannot wait to know the box office numbers.

When we say Gadar 2’s release is no less than a festival, we mean it and these videos are proof:-

he said, “We really made an effort to control everybody’s fees. Sunny’s fees are what it is, it’s okay, it’s just one person, but even he compromised quite a bit. These days, heroes and directors charge so much, the budgets end up ballooning up to Rs 600 crore, and sometimes the heroes charge Rs 150 crore and Rs 200 crore.”

He continued, “We decided to spend on the production. The Army supported us so much, they gave us tanks, locations and soldiers. I’m very thankful to the Army. We shot in UP, we got a lot of help from the ministry there… We used to block main roads, we blew up real bridges. Imagine.”

“These days, a lot of state governments offer a lot of aid and subsidies to film productions. But I would request the Maharashtra government to also step up.”

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh reviewed the film as a ‘Blockbuster’ and wrote, “Gadar 2 is old-school desi entertainment at its best… #SunnyDeol returns to the big screen with a vengeance… He is as ferocious as ever… #Gadar2 will create #Gadar at the #BO… The patriotic flavour coupled with tremendous recall value will make it a huge money-spinner.”

“Gadar 2 lives up to massive expectations… Has it all: drama, emotions, action, two beautiful songs [from the first part] and the hand pump sequence, of course… #AnilSharma makes sure he packs every ingredient on the shelf to create a big-screen entertainer. #Gadar2 could’ve done with a shorter run time and a few over-stretched sequences.”
