‘Mission: Chapter 1’ box office collection: Arun Vijay’s action thriller heads to become the winner

Arun Vijay joined hands with AL Vijay for the action thriller ‘Mission: Chapter 1’, and the film was released on January 12 for the Pongal festival. Clashing with two box office biggies, ‘Captain Miller’ and ‘Ayalaan’, ‘Mission: Chapter 1’ received a lesser number of screens in Tamil Nadu and overall as well. However, the positive reviews for the film from the audience turned out to be a major plus for the film. ‘Mission: Chapter 1’ has reportedly grossed close to Rs 23 crore worldwide at the end of week 1. After earning less than 10 crore in the first three days, ‘Mission: Chapter 1’ earned more numbers in the following days as WOM promoted the film.

Directed by AL Vijay, ‘Mission: Chapter 1’ has been subtitled ‘Achcham Enbathu Illaye’, and the film features Arun Vijay, Amy Jackson, Nimisha Sajayan, and Iyal in the main roles. GV Prakash Kumar scored the music, and the film set in London is about a terrorist attack on India.
