‘Wrong award,’ says Sonakshi Sinha as Ayushmann Khurrana gets named ‘most stylish icon’

Ayushmann Khurrana, whose fashion choices have gone through drastic changes over the years, was recently named “the most stylish icon” at a recent awards function.

While a volley of Bollywood celebrities congratulated the actor on the big honour, Sonakshi Sinha said that the actor had been given the “wrong award.” Surprised? Well, so were we until we read her comment in entirety. The actress wrote on the photo and video-sharing platform, “Wrong award. Best acting icon. Fo sho!!!”

Well, Sonakshi does have a point. The Chandigarh lad, more than anything else, has gained popularity for his excellent film choices and his ability to portray the common, everyday characters. For his acting prowess, Ayushmann bagged the Best Actor trophy at the prestigious Filmfare Awards. He also emerged the winner at the National Film Awards.

Ayushmann has been having a phenomenal run at the box office for more than two years now. From Bareilly Ki Barfi(2017) to his most recent release Bala, the actor delivered seven box-office hits in a row, which is quite a feat. If we talk about 2019, in particular, he saw three successes this year in the form of Article 15, Dream Girland Bala. Both Dream Girl and Bala went past the Rs 100 crore-mark.
