Double Trouble for Aishwarya Rai!?

One of the most commendable things about the evergreen global icon, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is that almost 20 years ago, she was the first actress to challenge herself early on in her career by essaying two characters in the 1998 S Shankar directorial, Jeans. With her performance in the movie, she joined the league of the likes of Hema Malini and other such legends who have played with the concept.

 And now, if our Khabri Keeda is to be believed, she is in the mood to try her hands at playing two simultaneous people one more time. And this time, it will be for a remake of a classic dark thriller that was made way before her time. The film in question is none other than the Nargis Dutt-starrer Raat Aur Din.

Yes, you read that right!As per KK, Raat Aur Din, the film which saw Nargisji play the character of Varuna, who was a complex woman with multiple personality disorder, is being remade and is being bankrolled by KriArj Entertainment and already has the Bachchan Bahu on board to step into the shoes of Varuna.

It would be exciting to see the versatile diva showing two facets of herself on screen. But, will she be able to do it yet again? Because, one is well aware that a lot can go wrong with a double-role film!

Guess we will get to know only after the film goes on floors right after her current project, the Anil Kapoor-starrer Fanney Khan.
