Nawazuddin Siddhiqui & Amrita Rao promotes “Thackery” in Delhi

Film Thackery Delhi promotions by Nawazuddin Siddhiqui & Amrita Rao!

The upcoming bilingual biographical film ‘Thackeray’ is all set for the release on 25th Jan, therefore, the cast Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Amrita Rao came together in Delhi to promote their film. Along with them the story writer Sanjay Raut and his daughter producer Purvashi Sanjay Raut were present in the press conference held at Odeon Carnival Cinemas, Connaught Place in Delhi on 22nd Jan.

The intense film follows the life of Bal Thackeray, the founder of the Indian political party Shiv Sena, the film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the Thackery and Amrita Rao as his wife. While interacting with media Nawaz stated about his preparation and experience for working in this film, he said, “I feel really happy when I get such type of roles, thank God the bit of my 25 years of hard work will get execution. I really prefer doing challenging roles, I always try to work out of my comfort zone, and therefore, my experience was amazing.”

On the other hand Amrita Rao added, “This was really a different zone of role for me, being a work in the role of a woman and a mother was really a great experience for me. I learned a lot, I can say wow, I had so much of fun working for this film.”

Presented by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Carnival Motion Pictures and Sanjay Raut, Thackeray is directed by Abhijit Panse. The music is by young composer-duo Rohan-Rohan with lyrics by Padma Shri Padma Shri Dr.Sunil Jogi  (Aaya Re Thackeray), Manoj Yadav (Saheb Tu) and Mandar Cholkar (Apale Saheb Thackeray) with music production by Aditya Paudwal, set to voice by Nakash Aziz (Aaya Re Thackeray), Sukhwinder Singh (Saheb Tu) and Avadhoot Gupte (Apale Saheb Thackeray). The special song Aaya Re Thackeray has been directed by music video director Ahmed Khan.
