 No guesses versatile filmmaker, producer and show host  Karan Johar leads the ‘Score Trend India’ most popular filmmaker list for mid 2019.

 While, director S.Shankar( Shankar Shanmugam) is second on the list with the blockbuster 2.0 followed by Farhan Akhtar and Rohit Shetty.   These statistics are authenticated and researched by the US-based media tech Score Trends India.

 Karan had an amazing year as a producer with blockbuster films like Simmba, Kesari and Kalank along with his latest release Student of the Year 2 . His talk show Koffee with Karan season 6  also was a rage. 

As per Score Trends India statistics, Karan has acquired 100 points in  all coverage categories  Viral News, Newsprints and Digital comprising of Social platforms and websites. 

 The veteran S . Shankar who is one of most acclaimed filmmaker of South ranks second with 89.15 points on the charts with his blockbuster ScFi  2.0 .He has scored 93.07 points in the category ofDigital ( Social platforms and websites), 17 points in Viral news & 100 points in Newsprint categories. 

 Surprisingly, director turned actor and producer Farhan Akhtar is in third position with overall 31.18 points post his news about dating model Shibani Dandekar. Professionally Farhan has also produced a sleeper hit Gully Boy and the popular web series Made in Heaven. 

Filmmaker and television popular host Rohit Shetty rank fourth  with 30.24 points post his blockbuster success of Simmba and  Khatron Ke khiladi which had garnered the highest TRP in reality show categories has added to his points.   Rohit is also presently in news post the announcement of Sooryavanshi staring Akshay Kumar.  

 Lastly, Anurag Kashap for producing and directing the most popular web series Scared Games on Netflix and producing Super 30 which has seen a lot of controversies.
