Shabana Azmi and Shashi Kapoor together did dozens of Bollywood films and their pairing was also liked by the audience. The duo gave noteworthy films like ‘Junoon’, ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Chor Sipahee‘, ‘Heer Aur Pathar’ and a few more. Shabana earlier in an interview had also revealed about her liking towards Shashi Kapoor and divulged that she was a crazy fan of him.

Today, the actress remembers the legendary actor on his 2nd death anniversary and expressed her feelings. She took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “2 years already! You gave and you gave .. to family,friends ,Theatre and the Indian Film Industry.. Remembering you with deep admiration affection and respect Shashiji🙏🙏.”

Moreover, in an interview, Shabana had also shared how she used to save her pocket money to buy Shashi Kapoor’s posters from Grant Road which she would get him autograph when he would come to Prithvi Theatre on Sundays. Soon, she landed up with a film opposite him which completely baffled the actress.
